We have a dedicated focus across dry and wet markets, as well as specialised knowledge on containers, gas and offshore. Whilst we conclude a considerable volume of second-hand transactions annually, our bespoke client-focused service separates us from the crowd.
New buildings
The brokering skills of our dedicated and experienced team has assisted owners with more than 300 newbuilding projects in the last 20 years. Our brokers draw on a mixture of both technical and commercial backgrounds, having built long-term relationships with ship owners and yards covering a variety of vessel types, including dry bulk carriers, tankers, container vessels, and chemical/gas carriers. Our office in South Korea consolidates our relationships with yards across Asia.
Time charter
Galbraiths’ relationships extend to every sector, allowing our time charter team to maintain close ties to shipowners, oil companies, traders, refiners and shipyards. Our presence in the highly specialised recycling sector enables us to keep clients well informed of market prices and yard space. Our specialists maintain close relationships with major cash buyers in key demolition markets in the Indian sub-continent, Far East and Turkey.
